SKM Services employs an industry recognised independent consultant for Quality Assurance and Quality Control purposes. The operative conducts high level data audits world wide as part of project management for Special Core Analysis (SCAL) program’s, production of capillary pressure databases, generation of saturation height functions etc. Specific to the oil and gas industries, these examples are critical functions for calculation of hydrocarbons in place, total reserves and economic viability of potential field developments.  Consultant services are provided by MICA Enterprises Ltd.

During the data reduction and evaluation process, a sixteen level QC / QA procedure is applied.  Only data that completes this process successfully is considered fit for presentation to customers.

Detailed discussion documents can be supplied to customers identifying the key areas of quality control and describing the potential measurement errors associated with each, emphasizing the importance of strict laboratory procedure.
