Report for 31/05/05 – 07/06/05

An unsettled showery week, but remaining warm. The fishing continues to be good with surface fished baits doing well for many people particularly during the evenings.

Willow pool gave Tony Marshall of Exeter 26 carp for 108lb total weight using legered sweetcorn. Les Swain also of Exeter had an 18lb 3oz. mirror carp to floating crust.

Kingfisher pool gave N Hulland of Bournemouth a 15lb carp and many roach to 8oz Graham Evans of Exeter took 35 carp for total weight 282lb on floating bread. Stephen Hird of Newton Abbot had 23 carp for total weight 108lb on legered sweetcorn over corn and pellet.
