Report for 01/11/05- 08/11/05

A very wet and windy week in most part with the lakes taking a lot of water but with mild temps. the fish are moving about well although not so many anglers about at this time of year.  If able to cope with the weather good catches can be made.  It will probably stay this way until the first bite of real winter arrives.

Willow pool gave Graham Evans of Exeter 16 carp to 9lb. on legered sweetcorn.  Kevin Coles of Exeter had 11 carp to 15lb on legered dog meat over chopped ham.  Stephen Hird of Newton Abbot had 21 carp to 7lb on method feeder with sweetcorn on the sharp end.

Heron pool gave M. Shepherd of Exeter a 7lb carp on plastic sweetcorn and a 1 1/2lb. plus perch on luncheon meat.
