Report for 03/05/05 – 10/05/05

It has been a mostly dry week but often with cold winds but some warm sunshine to keep the fish active particularly for the surface fished baits which seem to be the most successful tactic from the report cards submitted.

No reports for Willow pool but we know some nice carp are gracing the bankside to usual tactics such as float fished bread/chum mixers or legered corn/luncheon meat.

Kingfisher pool saw ever regular Graham Evans from Exeter take 31 carp to 15 1/2lb. on his usual tactic of float fished bread.  Paul Jacks of Exeter took had 4 carp to include a nice 23lb common carp on again float fished bread.  Gary Holman of Torquay had 8 carp to 12lb.using chum mixers on the surface.

Heron pool saw Jake Miller of Exeter take a 21lb. 3oz. mirror carp to floating bread crust.  Steve Smith of Exeter had 4 carp to legered luncheon meat.  Sharon Smith of Exeter had 3 carp to include  a 12lb ghost carp on legered luncheon meat.
