Report for 04/01/05 – 11/01/05

 

Despite the wind and the rain many good fish still show for the anglers, probably due to continued stable mild weather which helps to
keep them feeding more than you would normally expect to experience in January.

 

Willow pool gave regular Graham Evans from Exeter 12 carp to 10 1/2lb on legered corn.  Dean Wood from Ottery St. Mary had 2 carp of 13 1/2lb and 12lbwith meat on the bottom.  Jack Palmer of Exeter took 6 carp to 11lb on meat.  Anthony Hodgson of Hemyock took 6 carp to 10lb, again on meat.

Kingfisher pool gave Micky Palmer from Hemyock 12 carp to 13lb plus. Stephen Hird from Newton Abbot had 21 carp to 11 1/2lb for 118lb total on legered sweetcorn.
