Report for 08/02/05 –15/02/05

 

The weather has been mostly dry this past few days but colder with strong winds and frost at times.  However there are some fish still feeding to keep
the hardy winter anglers happy.

Willow pool gave Michael Hodgson of Torquay carp to 12 1/2lb. for 106lb all on meat.  Tristan Smith of Kingskerswell had 8 carp to 8lb on legered luncheon meat or corn.  Sam King of Shillingford had 7 carp to 6lb on legered sweetcorn.

Kingfisher pool gave Adam Giles aged 14 of Exeter 2 carp to include a 14 1/2lb.mirror carp on legered sweetcorn. Michael Hird of Newton Abbot had 18
carp plus a perch  for 94lb on pole fished maggot.
