Report for 12/04/05 –19/04/05

With the weather like spring and winter, sometimes on the same day, the carp seem a little finicky but still some fish coming for those anglers who appear and know
the right approach.

Willow pool gave Sam Bignell of Exeter 4 carp to 12 1/2lb and 2 tench to 3lb. 2oz.plus many silver fish to floatfished maggot or sweetcorn. On kingfisher pool Oliver Ouseley of Alphington had 3 carp to 16lb. 3oz on a leger rig and he also managed 6 carp to 7lb on dog biscuit off the surface. Mick Cutler from Solihull had 5 carp to 9lb. plus many silver fish to floatfished prawn. Stephen Hhird from Newton Abbot had 14 carp for 64lb on legered sweetcorn over corn and pellet.
