Report for 12/07/05 – 19/07/05

It has been another hot week and dry and the fish are very active in the warm water.  Good catches being made.

Willow pool gave I Halliday of Weston Super Mare 15 carp to 10lb on floating crust. M Herrington had a similar catch with the same tactics.  Kenny Atkinson of Sidmouth had 17 carp to 9lb.

Kingfisher pool gave Mark Wood of Bristol a 24lb common carp to floating bread.  Tom Mead of Shillingford had 24 carp to 17lb on floating dog biscuit.  Terrie Richardson of Budleigh had 9 carp to 11lb and perch to 3lb on various baits.

Heron pool gave John Butler of Paignton 10 carp to 17lb on bread and skimmers and roach to corn.  Dick Forgham of Exeter had 5 ghosties and skimmers plus rudd to meat, cheese and maggot.
