Report for 15/02/05 – 22/02/05
It has become quiet cold since the weekend and the sport has quietened down quite a bit. However with school half term last week a few anglers about and some fish putting in an appearance. It has been mostly dry which helps, even though it is cold.
Willow pool gave James Phillips aged 15 of Exeter 6 carp to 12lb 2oz. on
legered sweetcorn. Yogi Trestrail of Exeter had 8 carp to 13 1/2lb on legered
luncheon meat and maggot. Andrew Wakeman of Tedburn St. Mary had 9 carp on
bread during a half day session.
Kingfisher pool gave john cairns of Dawlish 10 carp for 49lb.on legered
sweetcorn. G Trant also of Exeter had a 12lb carp on legered spam.
There are also many nice roach coming out to about 10oz usually to those on
float fished maggot plus a few perch with some
appearing to about 1lb 8oz.
