Report for 17/05/05 – 24/05/05

Another cool and breezy week with spells of rain to keep temperatures subdued, and no signs of carp spawning activity yet. Plenty of fish coming out.

Willow pool saw Terry Kavanagh of Stourbridge have 8 carp to 9lb and many roach and rudd on pole fished meat and corn. Another session saw 11 carp and
silver fish. Pat Kavanagh had 11 carp and silver fish using the same approach, total weight 85lb.

Tim and Tony short both of Okehampton had 21 carp between them on surface fished chum mixers on both willow pool and kingfisher pool. Rita Bell of York had 24 carp to 13lb on pole fished sweetcorn. Chris Ryan of Okehampton had 32 carp to 12lb. 3oz. total weight 160lb. Robert Sercombe of Teignmouth had 14 carp to 15lb 5oz. and silver fish.
