Report for 17/10/05- 24/10/05

It has been an unsettled week with some heavy rain to freshen up the lakes and temperatures remain high for this time of year.  Willow pool gave Geoff Brown of Newton Abbot a personal best carp of 14lbon legered luncheon meat.

Graham Evans of Exeter had 19 carp to 10 1/2lb on floating bread or prawn or corn.  Stephen Hird of Newton Abbot had 26 carp to 11 3/4lb on method feeder with sweetcorn on sharp end.

Heron pool gave Andrew Martin known, as froggy, from Exeter 6 carp to 14lb plus skimmers and roach to 1lb.  Andrea Partridge of Exeter managed 2 carp plus skimmers and roach on sweetcorn or meat.
