Report for 19/04/05 – 26/04/05

 Plenty of rain this past week which freshens up the lakes and the fish appreciate, and temperatures have been reasonable.  The fish are moving around well and responding in particular to surface fished baits.

Willow pool saw ever regular Graham Evans from Exeter using surface fished dog biscuit to take 16 carp to 20lb during an afternoon session.  John Cairns of Dawlish managed 17 carp to 11lb 9oz. to include 3 doubles.  Danny Lewis of Feniton had 22 carp to 13lb on legered sweetcorn.

On kingfisher pool Tim and Tony Short both of Okehampton had 19 carp to 12 1/4lb.and 14 carp respectively. all caught on surface fished chum mixer.  Andrew Bagnall of Exeter had 12 carp to 14lb. on freelined dog biscuit.
