Report for 22/03/05 –29/03/05
Another heavy spell of rain on the pools this morning which can help improve the water further after the long dry spell. More rain would be nice for the fish if not for the angler/holidaymaker. They are looking good and the carp caught are starting to fill out a bit with spawning on the horizon. The carp are moving well with some fish coming out.
Kingfisher pool gave Neil Swaine from Northolt 44 carp on pole fished mixer,
method feeder or pellet. James Phillips of
James Ludgate aged 12 on holiday from Bucks had 3 carp to include a 23lb 4oz. common carp on legered luncheon meat. Spencer Croghill had 8 carp on legered sweetcorn.
