This page describes the Spillsave Portable Bund using a series of pictures and then a list of features at the bottom. 

The Spillsave system provides a portable bund for use during the mixing of pesticides and filling of application equipment. A built-in pump enables accidental spills to be immediately rinsed and returned to the sprayer for normal use. Personal protective equipment can be be washed as part of the normal filling operation with recycling of the washings through the sprayer. 

No contaminated waste is created so there is no disposal problem.

Suits most spraying systems from knapsack to self-propelled. 

The Spillsave catches spills allowing safe filling of the knapsack sprayer. Working inside the Spillsave ensures that any spills are contained and both the sprayer and protective equipment can be cleaned with the washings pumped into a spare container for use with the next batch of spray. 

Support legs are concealed within the framework and are engaged by the operator pulling the activation cords. 

With the 3 support legs deployed, the unit tilts for complete drainage of the washings to the pump. 

The Spillsave is placed under the induction hopper when filling a trailed field sprayer and the operator stands inside the Spillsave so that any spills are contained. 

After filling the operator washes off any splashes from the protective clothing and then steps out of the Spillsave. The pump is turned on and the support legs deployed to tilt the Spillsave which is then hosed clean with all the washings pumped into the induction hopper. 

The Spillsave folds quickly for storage and transport and can be utilised wherever the sprayer is operating. The two side pieces are removed and stowed ........

Using a ground sheet  provides a clean area under and around the Spillsave. It is essential that the Spillsave is set up on a clean area and that it is not contaminated by dirty footwear.

This can be reliably achieved by using a ground sheet in combination with a dedicated pair of clean Wellington boots
