Situated in a tranquil, rural setting on the eastern shores of Lough Neagh, near Antrim; RoundThorn Sport Horse Breeding is owned and managed by Patricia M. Connon.

The focus of our breeding program is to breed and produce top quality sport horses for the three Olympic disciplines of showjumping, eventing and dressage by crossing world-class warmblood sires with mares that possess world-class performance bloodlines and outstanding athleticism.

As we value the influence the dams bring to their offspring; we constantly look to improve and upgrade our broodmare herd with mares that we have bred and competed to the highest level; enabling us to offer for sale, progeny by
world-class sires out of top proven performance mares.

We have currently for sale excellent quality homebred colt foals by Ustinov, Verdi, and Contador as well as a selection of young stock through to top class ridden sporthorses.

We have foals due in 2010 by Sires such as Chacco Blue, Ustinov, Upgrade, Sir Shutterfly and L’Esprit.
All these sires are approved by the Irish Horse Board.

Foals are due from KWPN approved Eurocommerce Singapore and Van Gogh.

We also have a dressage foal due in 2010 by Paul Schockemohle’s Hanoverian Approved Dressage Stallion, Sarkozy.
