About Us South Tyneside Arts Studio is an open access community arts studio open to anyone aged 16+ living in the borough of South Tyneside.   Our main aim is " To provide the environment and resources that enables people living in the borough with and without established mental health needs to participate in creative activities that can help foster personal growth. " The studio is open to members Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.00pm, with last entry at 3.30pm Studio members can enjoy a wide range of visual art activities including drawing, painting, digital photography,  screen printing, sculpture, print making, paper mache, bead weaving. In addition to this the studio also arranges exhibitions, local studio trips, art auctions, coffee mornings and events throughout the year.  All information in these event is displayed within the studio on the members notice board.
