The Christmas Music Evening, Thursday 8th December 2005
The audience gathers around their tables
We had some fantastic performances:
Anna,
an invited guest, sang 6 pieces over the evening
Amy played 2 of her audition pieces
John played 2 pieces on his saxophone
Jordan, on her flute
Michael performed 3 items, including "Gnu" and "The Gas Man
Cometh"
Marje performed a monologue about children rehearsing for their school nativity
play
Perry performed a monologue...
...and sang for us
After the music, a delicious buffet was on offer, thanks to Lila and Barbara
After the food was demolished, we prepared for the raffle and the singing of
carols
For the carols,
the church rooms were plunged into darkness, except for candles on each table
