Church Organisations

Choir   Thursdays 7.30pm-8.30pm All singers welcome; voice training given. Juniors work for awards and are well paid for their efforts.

Children's Church   Sunday mornings, 10am - 11.20am. Supervised side chapel activities & crafts related to service: for babies and upward. Children may take part in the service as they choose.

Rainbows, Brownies & Guides   Meetings: Mondays 6.30pm Call Jan Naseby 01604 633339

Mothers' Union   3rd Wednesdays 2.30pm - Branch leader - Marilyn Mitchell 01604 622597

Guild of St Raphael   Meets last Wednesday of each month, in church, to pray for the sick. Prayer requests to Fr Leslie 01604 769233

Tots Club   9.30-11.30 Tuesday mornings. Grandmothers and fathers with babies and children are also welcomed in this growing club (with lunch once per month). Singing, painting, games, toys and company for all adults. Coffee and chat.

Holiday Club   During the summer holidays. Details from Parish Office.

Lunch Club   From birth to 100 yrs old! Held the first Tuesday of the month, September to July. Join us for lunch for just £2. Please book a place by calling the parish office by the Friday before the lunch is due to take place. Followed by bingo or other activity for those who wish to take part.

Age Concern   St Michael’s is working with Age Concern who offer for the over 55’s: Have fun—cook for one: A free weekly session designed for the bereaved and those who now find they are alone again. Cook with others and make new friends.  Get Set Go: A course of gentle movement and exercise.

Rambling and Real Ale   A mixed social group which both ‘rambles’ in the pub and takes the occasional walk. Some serious walking and some for softies when the weather is up to it. Ring us for details.
