JOINING Stockport Credit Union

Payroll Member Application: If you work for one of the employers listed here you can complete the form and post back to us. You may wish to send us a Payroll Loan Application Form or Payroll Deduction Mandate (for saving) at the same time

Adult Application: Complete this if you do not work for an employer listed here. This Application Form has to be brought in person with your ID to a Collection Point. ID we can accept is shown on p2 of the form.

Junior Application: Complete this if you wish to open an account for a Young Saver. This Application Form has to be brought in person by an adult with ID to a Collection Point

LOANS

Loans for new and existing members

You do not need to be an existing member of Stockport Credit Union to apply for these loans, but you will need to join if you want to accept a loan offer from us.

Payroll Loan Application: You must work for an Employer Partner of Stockport Credit Union. These include SMBC, Stockport Homes, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, Solutions SK, Borough Care, Pure Innovations, Startpoint and more... A full list of Employer Partners is here.

Car Loan Application: Apply for £3,000-£7,000 (more if you have savings with us).

Child Benefit Loan Application: Up to £500. Repay your loan out of your Child Benefit weekly or 4-weekly

White Goods Loan Application: Up to £300 for a cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, washer dryer, fridge, freezer or laptop

Loans for existing members only

Saver Loan Application: You must be a member of Stockport Credit Union and have saved regularly for at least 3 months. You can apply to borrow up to 3 times your savings

Secured Saver Loan Application: You must be a member of Stockport Credit Union and be borrowing less than you have saved. Borrowing on a Secure Saver Loan is our lowest rate of interest, and allows you to keep and grow your savings rather than save-withdraw-save-withdraw

SAVINGS/ FORMS FOR PAYING MONEY IN/ TAKING MONEY OUT

Standing Order: To instruct your bank to make regular payments from your bank account into your Credit Union savings, or to pay off a loan.

Payroll Deduction: To instruct your employer to make monthly deductions from your salary and pay the money into your Credit Union savings, or to pay off a loan. The employers listed here offer this benefit.

Xmas Saver: Complete this form if you are already a member with at least £1 in your Share Account and want to save for Christmas. Note: the money can only be accessed in November and December

Withdrawal Form: Complete this if you want to withdraw all or part of your Credit Union savings.


CHANGE of member details

Change Personal Details - Adult Member: Complete if your personal details (e.g. address, family name) change

Change Personal Details - Junior Saver: Complete if a Junior Saver's personal details change (e.g. change of address).
