Welcome to Kendal Volleyball Club's Website, we are a new club formed in 2006 and we now have over 20 members playing on a regular basis.  The club has players of all abilities and ages from ex-national league players to absolute beginners, we are also lucky to have trained coaches who will help you whatever your level.  We are also a very active social club with regular social events that allows us to sample the delights of Cumbrian night life.

We are currently working on our new website which will include all the latest news and photos of the club in action, in the meantime here is a quick summary of the club.

Where and when we play

We play every Wednesday night from 7:15pm till 8:45pm at Lakes Leisure Kendal.  A map of the location can be found here

New players are always welcome so come along and give it a try - First session is free!

Please note that all under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible adult (they adult doesn't have to play but must be present)

What it costs

Each session is £5 per person (£2.50 for low or unwaged)

Club membership is £10 (£5 for low or unwaged)

Tournaments and competition

We have recently had our first friendly match against Garstang and competed in our first competitive tournament at the Scottish Open.  We left Perth with our heads held very high after the men's team finished a very creditable 3rd in division 2 and the mixed team won the plate competition for division 3.  Photos and a full report to follow soon.

Social Events

We are a very social bunch and have regular social events throughout the year, these tend to involve a pub visit but we are hoping to spread our horizons soon.
