We are a very popular and highly regarded pre-school located in our own purpose built unit in the grounds of Sturry Church of England Primary School.
We welcome children from 2 years old usually in September and January, admissions after these dates are on condition of a space becoming available. Children in nappies are welcome.
The waiting list is arranged by date of birth and priority is given to children who do not have a place at another setting. It is advisable to place your child on the waiting list as soon as possible. This can be done by contacting us either by telephone or email.
We offer three 'Sunflower' sessions each week for our older children. There is a higher child:staff ratio and we focus on more structured activities, encouraging children to become independent by putting on their own coats, wellies etc. In order to make the transition to school as smooth as possible; during the summer term we go on regular visits to Sturry CE Primary School and the reception teachers come to us for story time etc. These sessions are allocated by the manager.
Each session costs £7, (£9 for the Sunflower session) this must be paid termly (usually six or seven weeks) in advance, you are liable for payment even if your child does not attend for any reason. Long term absences can be discussed and treated on an individual basis.
Government funding is available for children the accounting period following their third birthday (1 Jan, 1 Apr, 1 Sep) . More information from our links page. |
