Care is provided for children from birth to 7 years. We are a 50 place nursery and take advantage of the spacious property which allows children to explore the environment and take part in a range of physical activities.
The nursery opens at 07.45 to 18.00 hours Monday to Friday.
Part time places are available but in order to ensure safe levels of supervision these sessions must be arranged with the manager prior to registering your child.
Nutritional well balanced meals are provided on the premises. We offer breakfast, milk, cooked lunch and afternoon tea with snacks. Drinks are vital for good health and these are readily available throughout the day.
We use fresh ingredients which are prepared by our qualified cook.
Note: Many special diets have been catered for and nothing is too much trouble.
Your Special Child
The development of your child as an individual is promoted through contact with other children. Your child will be encouraged to ask questions, state their point of view and respect the opinions of others as they move towards independent learning. We are caring for your child for 'YOU' and it is our philosophy to continue, as far as possible, any established routines such as sleeping patterns and weaning programmes.
Activities
The day is lightly structured offering a variety of experiences through stimulating activities and pre-school preparation. We provide the grounding for school by following the Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum. Each child's individual needs and ability are taken into consideration when planning activities. The nursery is very well equipped to provide your child with endless opportunities for a busy day!
