The Team

Optometrists

Our two resident Optometrists, Miss Susan Collier and Mr Bruce Gilson both graduated from City University, London. They are both members of the British Contact Lens Association and regularly attend lectures, keeping up to date with the latest developments in Optometry. Mr Gilson is also Chairman of Bucks Local Optical Committee.

Dispensing Opticians

Mr Stephen Akroyd and Mrs Caroline Yetman are both registered Dispensing Opticians. They have previously worked for independent and multiple practices and bring with them a wealth of experience. They also conduct visual field screening and contact lens instruction. Mrs Helen Glenister is our Clinical and Dispensing Assistant. She has been employed at the practice for 18 years. In addition to her extensive dispensing skills, she also carries out visual field screening.

Reception

Our receptionists Fiona Jackson and Clare Hewson share reception duties and are happy to organise your appointments, answer any of your questions as well as helping with frame selection. Fiona is an established and experienced member of the team. Clare has joined us recently following a career in retail management.
