Much change has taken place within our industry. Due to the social climate and various scares, there is now more emphasis placed on hygeine and due diligence than ever before. Swandean would like to make the assurance that our factory operates to a very high standard. We comply with all safety procedures, with regular inspections by the MLC (Meat & Livestock Commission) and NACD (National Association of Catering Butchers), who have extremely thorough standards to be maintained. All fresh meat is stored in separate fridges then monitored by means of a themostatic processing unit. The unit records any change in temperature and produces a continous graph readout. We insist that our suppliers comply with the same strict code of practice, enabling us to track the product back to source. At Swandean we know you expect the best and are confident that our factory has one of the highest standards in the South East. |
