Tanco Engineering is a privately owned family business, founded in 1978. 

In 1981 the company moved to it’s current manufacturing site in Hensall, North Yorkshire which has very close access to major motorway links.

We specialise in the design and manufacture of mould tools, precision components, plastic injection moulded parts and wire handles. The industries we serve are wide ranging and include the conveyor market, food, clothing, construction, agriculture, leisure and M.O.D to name a few.

Originally engineers and tool-makers, we have now diversified and can offer a complete service, from initial design through to end product.  Our state of the art plastic injection moulding machines, robotics and ancillary equipment, supported by a well trained and motivated workforce compliment our engineering background.

Our extensive knowledge of the plastics industry, coupled with a strong commitment to our customers has seen us consistently produce high quality sub-contract mouldings for a number of prestigious UK Companies
