Teknimek-Ink Proofer

Origionally called the 'Peach Proofer', we have now taken over from 'Mickle Laboratories' in the manufacture and sales of the complete proofer system. We have had close ties with the Mickle Laboratory company for many years and will still continue to work closely together for the continuation of what is considered by some, to be the 'Industry Standard' for testing Ink.

The proofer system comprises of two units. The 'Inker' and the 'Printer'. The 3 roller inker is used to evenly coat a 50mm wide printing disc. To do this, a specified amount of ink is placed onto a 'distribution' roller via an 'ink pipette', which then quickly transfers ink to the Printing disc. The Printing disc is then placed on the printer where, by using a standard speed and controlled pressure, it can print onto paper, carton board, tinplate and plastic.
The Rollers can be supplied for conventional or UV inks.
