With four real ale handpulls and at least one scrumpy cider on draught our Chatsworth Bar is an ideal place to relax with friends and enjoy good quality real ale.

We have gained several CAMRA awards for the quality of our real ale, including Matlock and Dales Pub of the Year 2009 , and have been in the CAMRA Good Beer guide since 2008.

We participate in the Chesterfield CAMRA LocALe sceme whereby at least one of our ales on sale is brewed within 25 miles of The Temple. In fact, it is our policy to source at least three out of four real ales from Derbyshire, a county rich in micro-breweries

We are also mentioned in Bob Steel's excellent CAMRA publication Peak District Pub Walks, a vital companion when visiting the Peak District for rambling and beer!
