History

Teresa Forsyth was born in South Africa of Scottish descent and moved to the UK in the Seventies to follow a career in the Theatre that included Stage Management, Acting and Wardrobe. After many years of touring around the globe with various productions, Teresa found the urge to escape that way of life for more peaceful and artistic pursuits.
Having qualified with a London City & Guilds Certificate in 1998, Teresa re-located to the picturesque Argyll Village of Ardentinny and set about establishing her own Upholstery and Soft Furnishings Business in the West of Scotland.
Many years of involvement in Costume Reconstruction in the Wardrobe Department of London West End Shows such as 'Phantom of the Opera' and with the Royal National Theatre have lent an Artistic Flair to her work.
Since she came to Argyll, Teresa has built a reputation for Quality Workmanship, Dedication and Attention to Detail that has made her First Choice for Upholstery Projects throughout the area.

Teresa has established a loyal client base in Argyll that includes Hotels, Hospitals, Marinas, Education Centres, Holiday Centres, Caravan Sites and Private Residences.
Her Projects have included Chaise Longues, Suites, Sofas, Armchairs, Dining Chairs, Headboards, Loose Covers, Curtains, Caravan Seats, Recliners, Stools, Sofa Beds, Screens, Boat Cushions, Alterations, Motorcycle Seats, and even a Rocking Horse.
She can work in both Contract and Marine Fabrics as well as Domestic Flame Retardant Fabrics, Leather and PVC.
Teresa keeps a full range of Sample Books from some of the Leading Fabric Suppliers in the UK
