Louise opened The Dental Surgery in 1990. Graduating as a Batchelor of Dental Surgery from Guy's Hospital London in 1987, Louise worked as a newly qualified dentist in the Gravesend area of Kent. More than a handful of her current patients remember following Louise from Gravesend to Strood where she now owns her own practice. Louise was joined by associate Dental Surgeons Dr Linda Lake and Dr David Jackson in 1994. Louise's team has grown over the years and we are now, 3 Surgeons, 2 Therapists, 1 hygienist, 4 Nurses, 3 Receptionists and a Practice Manager. Louise is passionate about the outdoor life and is often found at the weekends, mostly muddy, hiking the Kent countryside with her husband and dogs.

Linda studied as a mature student at the university of London's Guys hospital. Previous years were spent working in the community dental service as a therapist, exclusively treating children. Linda went on to fulfill her vocation to become a general dental practitioner and gained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1988. Presently working in both general practice and in the local hospital orthodontic department, Linda greatly enjoys the challenges and variety that dentistry offers. Combining work wih family life including 2 grown up children means there is never a dull moment. Spare time is spent keeping active at the gym, walking her spaniel and playing the piano.

David Jackson qualified from Guy's Hospital Dental School in 1975. He divides his time between The Dental Surgery and a specialist orthodontic practice in Bexleyheath. David loves his work and is generally found smiling or cracking a joke. In his spare time David sings with the Vasari Singers, a choral group with whom he regularly tours around the country. He will delight us occasionally by bursting into song while he works and is likely to play an eclectic mix of music on his i-Pod. David has adult twin sons, a beautiful baby granddaughter and lives in London with his wife.

Therapists Sally Savory, Emma Attwood and Hygienist Jenny Thompson work closely with the Dentists providing the very best in patient care. They have received in-depth specialist training in how best to manage gum health and gum health problems for individual patients. It is their role to provide oral hygiene instruction and to carry out treatments for you that have been prescribed by the Dentists. They will demonstrate a home care routine designed especially for you and play a vital part of your overall dental health.
