The Artichoke - dining room

Our chef, Martin and his staff, have a well earned reputation for simple, homemade freshly cooked meals using local ingredients where possible. Our pub meals are available both lunchtimes and evenings and we are sure you won’t be disappointed!

Our lunches range from full meals such as Steak and Kidney Pie, Norfolk Sausages and Mash and Fresh Pan-fried Fish, to light snacky meals such as Chilli Con Carne, Quiche and Salad and Ham, Egg and Chips. We also offer a new vegetarian menu of eight different meals, including a gluten free oyster mushroom rocket risotto with side salad. There is also a choice of hot baps, filled sandwiches or toasties. A selection of specials is available daily on our blackboard above the fireplace. Lunch can be taken in the bar, the dining room or in the garden.

Evening meals are from a mouth watering a la carte menu, including steaks, fish, full grills and vegetarian options. A selection of specials is also available along with a delightful range of traditional sweets. Our evening meals are extremely popular, so booking is advisable.

Sunday lunch is also available and includes two roasts (beef and either pork or chicken), a vegetarian nut roast and a selection of main meals. Booking is advisable.

All our meals are cooked to order and as such in busy times, there may be a delay. If there is, you will be told when ordering your meal.

  • Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm – 2.30pm
  • Sundays, 12pm - 4pm (booking is advisable)

Evening

  • Tuesday to Saturday, 6.30pm – 9pm (booking is advisable)
