Our wine list has offerings from both the old, and the new world, with types and styles to suit most palates. France, Spain and Italy are all represented, as is Australia, New Zealand, South America and South Africa. We also offer four dessert wines for that end of meal experience and if celebrating, try our Champagne or bottles of Sparkling Fizz.
The landlord’s malt whisky collection is legendary and includes some rare bottling and some examples from either closed or mothballed distilleries. Malt whiskies from all regions in Scotland can be found on the shelf behind the bottom bar. There is also an increasing selection of Irish malt and blended whiskies including Tyreconnell, Lockes and Connemara Cask Strength. Try one you’ve never had before, then have a quiet marvle over its various merits. Sláinte.
Drinking is to be enjoyed and for that reason we believe other styles of drink, whilst not in fashion, should also be tried. Take a look at our five different sherries, two madeiras and four ports, including a lovely white aperitif port.
