The family has invited various guests to stay for the weekend. None of the family has told the other members, so naturally chaos ensues.
Hay Fever is a delicious comedy of fabulously bad manners. Stinging witticisms flung across chasms of incomprehension; a play which celebrates and satirises the acting and writing professions.
Notable ‘Judiths’ have included Edith Evans, Celia Johnson, Maria Aitken, Geraldine McEwan, Rosemary Harris and most recently in London, Judi Dench. Actors who have played ‘David’ include Peter Bowles, Roy Dotrice and John Standing
