Day for Fanny

 

 

 On Friday 2nd May 2008 all Fanya's friends will be meeting up at the Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park, South London at 11.30am (all to be assembled by 12.00) to have a picnic (weather permitting) to chat about the happy times that we all shared with our beloved friend.

We will then, at noon, send Fanya on her final journey that she wanted to take when she passed on ... a journey to the sea. We will scatter her ashes into the Thames and with all our love and best wishes, she will be on her way to the place of her birth.

We will be bringing our own food and drink. That part of it is not compulsory but the only thing people are requested to bring with them is a big smile for the lady who gave us all so much.

Lets give her a good send-off.

Even though Fanya did not believe in the afterlife we know at heart that the kind of goodness that Fanya embodied will always be with us and can never be extinguished.
