The Baiting House derives it's name from the wagon hauliers working the Hereford - Stourport route, who stopped here for 'bait', a term meaning food for themselves and their horses.
It is the only pub in the world so named.

Located on the B4203 mid-way between Bromyard and Great Witley. The historic cities and towns of Worcester, Hereford, Malvern, Ledbury, Tenbury Wells and Ludlow are all within easy reach.
