Sapey Golf Course

Sapey Golf Course

Opened in 1990 Sapey Golf Club has matured into one of the outstanding courses in the area. Set high in the rolling hills of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire border wild life abounds, finding refuge in the surrounding woods, cornfields and pastures, all observed on high by their adopted family of buzzards.

Shelsley Walsh

Shelsley Walsh

Shelsley Walsh is the oldest motor sport venue in continuous use in the world. First used in 1905, it is older than Indianapolis, Le Mans or Monza. Brooklands has been and gone, but Shelsley Walsh is still here, as old as the sport but as modern as today.

Severn Valley Railway

Severn Valley Railway

The SVR is a full-size standard-gauge railway line running regular steam-hauled passenger trains for the benefit of visitors and enthusiasts alike between Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth in Shropshire, a distance of 16 miles.

West Midlands Safari Park

We have four fantastic miles of safari trail with close encounters galore. Have you ever seen a rare White Lion? Probably not as they are virtually extinct in the wild and we have the only pride in the UK.  The adventure continues - track down Elephant; Rhino; Tiger; Wild Dog; Lion; Wallaby; Wolf; Buffalo; Zebra; Gnu; Camel and all kinds of Deer.  The animal reserve is home to over 600 animals and covers a vast area of 100 acres, which is often abundant with babies.

Worcester Cathedral

Worcester Cathedral

Worcester Cathedral is a magnificent sight as it rises majestically above the River Severn. Worcester has been the seat of a bishopric since the Seventh Century, and the Cathedral was served by monks until the Reformation. St Oswald and St Wulfstan were among the bishops. Since the Eighteenth Century, the Cathedral has been famous for its part in the annual Three Choirs Festival, the oldest choral festival in existence.

Hereford Racecourse

Hereford Racecourse

Situated On the edge of the Cathedral City that forms a natural gateway to the idyllic Brecon Countryside, Hereford Racecourse stages 14 exciting National Hunt race meetings, as well as 2 Arab race days and 1 Harness race fixture. With a variety of weekday and weekend Racing, Hereford Racecourse is a great day out for all.

Malvern hills

The Worcestershire Way

This much loved walk starts in the fine Georgian town of Bewdley. Climbing the hill at Ribblesford, the route then winds through pleasant countryside to Heightington. From here you will find yourself in glorious remote countryside, with barely a building or road in sight. Narrow lanes, lined with Violets and Primroses in early spring, lead you towards Abberley Hill, though beautiful woodlands. Passing the striking Victorian clock tower, the following climb up the steep Walsgrove Hill will be rewarded with breathtaking views across the Teme Valley.
