Classes and Blue Book Reviews

 

There are 2 types of class at the West London Knowledge  School and a blue book review program.

On Wednesday  evenings from 7pm onwards  there is a FREE beginners blue book class.  to ensure that you are completing the Blue books correctly and to help you progress there are also  practice map sessions which focus on central London and the City.

Calling over is also encouraged and to help students get used of calling over in front of others making it easier to call point to point at a later date and to also help them perform better in front of examiners and call over partners. Students need to have completed at least 40 Blue book runs to attend the class  and should also bring their Blue Books to every session.

 

The more advanced class for those about to take their map test or currently on 56s  takes place every Thursday  from 1pm onwards.

This  class helps  call over skills and focuses on key areas such as  turnarounds,   bridge selection and the moving line principle. Students are also given simulated questions and one to one advice on revision and call over techniques and help \ advice is also given to help students  complete point to point sheets and students are given the opportunity practice.

Advice is also given for exam strategies and P.C.O. procedures to help students to know what to expect when undergoing exams.

 The 56 / Map Classes are £2 to drop in students and free to members.

 

Finally there are blue book reviews and introductory talks which are all free for students using our blue book these are given just prior to a student commencing their runs then at 10, 20, and 40 runs the students. The best times to pop for initial reviews are around 10:15 am or 3pm. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
