The Story

Costs

Wiring loom was a KH250 with a few wires added in to enable the CDI unit of a KH400 integrate to the rest.   Dodgy joined wires were replaced with modern cable from Maplins and new bullet connectors applied.  The worst bit here was dealing with the sticky mess left by whoever used electrical insulating tape.  Don't use it !, get some non-adhesive tape and wrap it properly - the finished job will be just like original.  (see costs for wrapping tape)

Finished wrapped wiring loom.  The only thing that doesn't work properly is the kill switch; the 250 has a break switch and the CDI models have a make switch, and it's not possible to adapt either to the other.
