The Treehouse is situated on the waterfront of Little Cranberry Lake at the end of a quiet lane in Seeley's Bay, Ontario - part of the Rideau Canal System. The historic towns of Kingston and Westport are nearby. Seeley's Bay is a 25 minute drive from the USA Bridge (see here for Road map) and the St Lawrence River - renowned for it's excellent Carp Fishing.

The Rideau Canal Waterway links the beautiful lakes and rivers between Ottawa and Kingston. It is the oldest continuously operated canal in North America and Canada and is a boater's paradise.  The Rideau Canal Waterway attracts pleasure boats from across North America and Canada to travel its 202 kilometre (125 miles) length.

The stunning Rideau Canal is also a Canadian National Historic Site, a designated Canadian Heritage River and a nominated World Heritage Site. It stretches from Kingston, at the foot of Lake Ontario, to Ottawa, Canada's capital. Maintained by Canada's Parks service it is arguably the most scenic waterway in Canada.

1000 Islands - For years the 1000 Islands have been a millionaire's playground with many making this area their summer retreat since the days of a prohibition.  Take a boat trip from Kingston, Gananoque or Rockport and cruise among the more than 1870 Islands (yes, there are actually more than a 1000) and see the spectacular island homes up close. The grandest of which is Boldt Castle – but don’t forget your passport, as this island is on the US side of the river!

Calabogie Peaks - Drive 1.5 hours from The Treehouse and in Winter you will find the highest public Ski mountain in Ontario. Calabogie Peaks Ski Resort is nestled against the breathtaking backdrop of Dickson Mountain and Calabogie Lake in the Ottawa Valley.
