The Trades Club Beer Festival went well but we have beer left over so if you want some you can get it for £1 a pint tonight.

The Beers
Abbeydale Brewery, Sheffield
Absolution 5.3% Mid-straw coloured beer with aromas of tropical fruit, particularly mangoes. The beer is sweet all the way through, balanced by bitterness at the finish. Flavours are fruity with toffee-apples and bananas. A clean tasting beer, sweetish but not cloying. Very drinkable
Black Mass 6.66% Very dark ruby ale with a rich creamy head. Aromas of dark chocolate, coffee and burnt toast. Full bodied and warming with strong flavours of bitter chocolate, fruitcake, raisins and hints of cherries. A lingering bitter finish
Last Rites 11%
Superbly strong and full-bodied ale which is very pale for its strength. It has aromas full of toffee and caramel. The flavour is smooth and sweet with warming alcohol and lots of toffee, candied peel and dried citrus fruits. The beer is quite vinous and has lots of depth and lingering flavours

Tabatha 6% Very pale, Belgian style tripel beer with a hint of coriander

Copper Dragon Brewery, Skipton
Scotts 1816 4.1% A full-bodied flavoursome rounded ale with a distinctive hoppy palate and aroma

Daleside Brewery, Harrogate
Daleside Blonde 3.9% Beautiful Amber / Copper colour. Light and very drinkable. A great Yorkshire beer with tradition in every drop

E&S Elland Brewery, Halifax
True Leveller 5.7% Four malts and three hops make this a complex strong ale whose name celebrates the Winstanley Levellers of the English Civil War
Goldrush 4.6% Pale golden in colour, this beer is brewed using a combination of three different malts and four different hops. It has a considerable floral, herby and spicy aroma with refreshing citrus hop and balanced malt flavours followed by a long fully hoppy aftertaste

George Wright Brewery, St. Helens
Half Cut Bitter 5.1% A superb full flavoured premium strength bitter

Goose Eye Brewery, Keighley
Pommies Revenge 5.2% An extra strong single malt bitter. Very palatable without the heaviness of an old ale but with the same effect

Leeds Best 4.3% A classic Yorkshire Bitter. Finest English hops blend perfectly with our unique Yorkshire yeast to create a full flavoured beer with a superb hoppy finish
Midnight Bell 4.8% A premium dark mild. Roast and chocolate malts combine to give a full bodied, complex character to this rich and robust ale

Black Witch 4.2% A smooth dark beer with a satisfying smoked chocolate malt middle, a subtle hint of molasses leading to a mild hop dryness
Pendle Witches Brew 5.1% Full malty flavoured beer with a strong fruity hop aftertaste

Old Bear Brewery, Keighley
Hibernator 5% A strong dark ale, ruby red in colour with a powerful malt and light liquorice aroma
Honeypot 4.4% A Yorkshire ale made with Yorkshire honey. The straw colour comes from the finest maris otter malt enhanced with the golden honey from Denholme Gate which adds to the amber glow. A single delicate hop added to the honey gives both aroma and taste creating a perfect balance to this truly refreshing ale

Ossett Brewery
Excelsior 5.2% Mellow yet full flavour that develops into fruity dryness on the palate. A fresh, hoppy aroma with citrus, toffee and floral characteristics

Yorkshire Pale Ale 4.3% Pale gold colour. Raspberry aroma. Long aromatic finish. Medium bitterness. Maris Otter malt, soft Yorkshire water and Challenger and Styrian hops

Old Timer 3.8% Pale session ale with bitter fruity hop chcaracter

Saltaire Brewery, Bradford
Fuggles 3.8% Full flavoured beer, featuring juicy pale and crystal malts with the traditional fruity aroma and taste of Fuggle hops
XB 4.3% Amber in colour with a dominant roast aroma and flavours. A slight butterscotch aroma meets the fruit on the palate, where the Challenger hop adds spicy bitterness

Golden Best 3.5% The last of the true Pennine light milds, this amber coloured beer makes a refreshing session ale. The smooth and creamy flavour makes it the popular choice
Landlord 4.3% Refreshingly reliable, nationaly renowned, this full drinking Pale Ale with a complex and hoppy aroma

Thwaites Brewery, Blackburn
Lancaster Bomber 4.4% Chestnut in colour, Lancaster Bomber has a warming, full-flavoured taste, with a hint of toffee and biscuit and a very moreish flavour
Wainwright 4.1% A refreshing straw-coloured beer with soft fruit flavours and a hint of sweetness from the fine malt. Utterly drinkable!
