| Jeni & Billy | ||
| Jeni & Billy perform original and traditional songs that draw from Appalachian, old-time country, bluegrass and folk music. They will draw you into captivating narratives of hard living and unexpected grace. Their set at last year’s Beverley Folk Festival was reviewed as “a sweet and surprising high point …. singing songs from the southwest Virginia coal mines, the pair melted hearts”, and we are really pleased to book on their next visit to the UK. |

| Rodney Branigan | ||
| Rodney Branigan has redefined the role and limits of the guitar. There is simply no way to adequately describe this performance with mere words. He can play two guitars at once better than most can play one! Strumming the body of a twelve-string, while picking the neck of a six-string, Rodney creates music by himself that sounds like it is coming from a trio. “One of the most amazing artists you will ever see. Not simply because he's unique, but rather because he's impossibly talented” – Music Connections Magazine. |

| HX7 Jazz Club at the Trades with the Sam Crockatt Quartet |
||
| A great group with Crockatt on tenor sax, Kit Downes on piano, Oli Hayhurst on bass and Ben Reynolds on drums, with very strong support from Oli and Ben for the soloists and an excellent mix of material. Sam Crockatt’s playing is gentler than many, though it still has intensity and energy. Downes is one of the best young pianists in the country, his dazzling solos complementing Crockatt's sophisticated rhythmic flights. Their album “Howeird” won the 2009 Parliamentary Jazz Award for best album. |
