When can my puppy start Classes? Our puppy socialisation classes are strictly for the babies. Puppies can join from 8 weeks of age or as soon as they have had their first inoculation. From 8 to 14 weeks puppies are at their most receptive and the need for socialisation at it is most imperative. Our premises are scrupulously disinfected and our classes very carefully managed to ensure that puppies get lots of experiences - all of them good. Click Here for details. |
Can I bring my dog to classes? Before we accept most young and adult dogs into classes we will carry out a 1-2-1 assessment, we do this to make sure that the dog will benefit from class training and to ensure that the dog will not be disruptive and prevent other dogs and handlers from working. Following a 1-2-1 assessment we will recommend either attending classes or further training before coming to classes. We give a discount on class bookings following a 1-2-1 assessment. When can my dog start Agility Young dogs from 9 months old attend Agility Classes, even older experienced dogs will not be expected to jump full height consistently this can lead to joint and repetitive strain injuries. With young dogs, handlers will be concentrating on controlling and directing their dog not on speed or full height obstacles. Young dogs will not be doing anything more strenuous than they do on normal walks. Click Here for details. |
Are all your classes in the Evening? We do run both regular Training Classes and Agility Classes in the evening but we also run Agility Classes and Regular Training Classes on weekday afternoons and also on Saturday mornings. Our Puppy Socialisation Classes only take place one evening a week but because our classes are small and carefully managed young puppies can attend most of our Regular Training Classes. When can I start classes We don't restrict our clients to "terms" dogs need to start socialisation and training when they are ready not when there is new "term" starting. Puppies and dogs can join our classes at any time, as long as there is a place available. When we get a particularly high demand we will usually run another class rather than turn dogs and puppies away. For more details Click Here. |
What do Classes and Activities Cost? Prices depend upon how many lessons you book and when they are held, the more lessons you book the cheaper they are whilst Weekday Classes are a little cheaper than Saturday Classes. Activities other than our Regular Classes are individually priced. If you book a 1-2-1 consultation you will be entitled to a discount on Regular Class Lesson.
