Our Puppy Socialisation Classes ( Puppy Parties) are run on a "join when you choose" basis, so you don't have to wait to enroll your puppy for classes at the start of a new term or new set of lessons. You can come along and join us whenever your puppy has had the first inoculation, this means that new puppies are joining our Puppy Socialisation Classes and older puppies are moving on to our Training Classes regularly. This movement of puppies is beneficial to puppy socialisation because throughout its time with us your puppy will get to meet a variety of different breeds, types and personalities. Rolling Classes mean that no one need miss out because their puppy is not ready to join at the start of fixed "term" or fixed series of lesson.s Puppies can join the Puppy Parties at any time up to 14 or 16 weeks of age and move on to the next stage of their education when they are ready, not at some arbitrary and unsuitable time.
Similarly our dog training classes are also run on an ongoing programme with no artificially imposed times to join or move class, our classes are designed to offer the best education and socialisation with a clear understanding that all dogs and owner are different and all have a potential to fulfil at their own pace and in their own style.
We keep our puppy and dog training classes small to ensure that everyone gets lots of personal attention and that means that we can mix dogs and handlers who are at different stages of learning in the same dog training class. Mixed classes means that instead of a class of young, excited dogs all with inexperienced handlers we have dog training classes where more experienced dogs set a good example and less experienced handlers have an opportunity to learn from those around them. This also means that, with the exception of very young puppies, who have special learning requirements, we do not set arbitrary entry requirements for different classes based on age groups or dogs who can perform a particular "trick", this that means that clients can choose classes to suit their time constraints and commitments rather than being forced into a particular time slot.
Flexible Attendance
We know that everyone is very busy and that it can be difficult to come to the same puppy or dog training class every week so we try to be flexible and offer alternatives. Our Fees for both Puppy Socialisation and Dog Training Classes are based on attendance not on a fixed timescale or rigid class allocation. When you book a block of lessons you are buying credits rather than specific classes so you don't have to worry if you can't make one or more classes. If you miss a week you simply carry the credit for that class over and use it another time, we only require that all classes are taken within 6 months of being booked.
We run Puppy Socialisation Classes and Dog Training Classes in both the afternoon and evening so if you want to come to an afternoon session one week and an evening session the next, that's fine! When you book you choose your "regular" class and any time that you want to change classes either just for a week or two or on a permanent basis, let us know and as long as there is a space in the class you want to change to - no problem.
Please note that bookings for special events must be used for the event booked or forfeit.

Puppy Socialisation Classes  Puppy Socialisation classes take place every Wednesday at Upper Wield Village Hall. The class times are 18:00-19:00.
This class is specifically for puppies from 8 weeks (after first inoculation) to 16 weeks.
If this time is not convenient please note that all our regular classes are also suitable for very young puppies provided that they have completed their full course of inoculations. Click Here for details.

Dog Training Classes  For puppies and adult dogs classes are on Monday at 18:00-19:00, Tuesday at 18:00-19:00 and 19:00-20:00, Wednesdays at 13:00-14:00, 14:00-15:00 and 19:00-20:00. All regular Dog Training Classes are held at
Upper Wield Village Hall or at our Training Ground. General Dog Training Classes also take place on Saturdays from 10:00-11:00.

Agility Classes  Agility Classes are for all levels of experience in 2006 they run from
Monday 13th March to Monday 25th October. Classes take place on
Mondays from 13:00-14:00 and 14:00-15;00 also 17:00-18:00 and
18:00-19:00 and from the 24th April until 20th August 19:00 - 20:00. Saturday Agility Classes take place 11:00-12:00 and 12:00-13:00. All Agility Classes take place at our Dog Training Ground at Upper Wield. Click Here for Details.

Private Training and 1-2-1 Sessions  Private training usually takes place either at the owners home or at our Dog Training Ground at Upper Wield about 50 yards from the Village Hall.
Private Training can be arranged at most times when formal classes are not taking place.

 Annual Season Ticket Training4dogs is introducing a new annual subscription, which will allows a handler to attend a maximum of 2 dog training classes per week, 2 agility classes per week during the agility season, and as many weekend events as they wish. This package is primarily designed for handlers who have more than one dog however for those with one dog and who attend one training class per week, one agility class per week in the agility season and some of our weekend events this package may also be of interest.
Annual Subscription £500 per named handler.
