Trying (though not very hard really) to be retired after 43 years in ministry in various parts of the country as well as a continuing preaching ministry. Engaged with UCB ‘Prayerline’ Ministries. Also interested in renewal ministries, Holy Spirit revival, Alpha Outreach and a keen interest in “Fresh ways of doing Church”.

I used to look at some folk in our church and regard them as ‘The Old Members’. Now I regard myself as an ‘Old Member’, a wrinkley. But I am not like the former old ‘old members’, or am I? I like to think I am more forward looking. I believe we can learn from the past but should not live in it. Jesus is not just listening, he is here . I have met Him

I am a Local Preacher, concerned about encouraging the church to proclaim and live the gospel; the chair of trustees of South Staffs Youth for Christ, concerned to reach all ages relevantly for Christ; and someone involved in leading Disciple courses in the Methodist Circuit, concerned that we are Bible-based in our spirituality. For me, TGIS aims to offer for all, of any denomination (or none), an opportunity to praise God and to hear challenging bible-based teaching.

Doreen Siddons

Not brought up in Christian home, came to know the Lord at the beginning of becoming a nurse, through the witness of a friend. Married a Christian, called into ministry. The Lord has kept us through varied and difficult situations with His love care and protection. Blessed me in so many ways. My one desire is to become more and more like Him, to love Him more.

Favourite worship song - Faithful One - He has been so faithful to me and has lifted and restored me in so many ways.
