Welcome to the official ‘Twisted Wheel Club’ website, the ONLY soul club surviving that still spins 60t’s SOUL and R’n’B CLASSICS on vinyl in the ORIGINAL club building.

The ‘Wheel’ has been re-activated since July 2000 when promoter Pete Roberts realized his dream of spinning sounds in the downstairs Stageroom, famous for live performances by great artists the likes of Ben E King,Jr. Walker, Jimmy Ruffin and Edwin Starr.

We have Soul nights on the LAST FRIDAY of each month and ‘SUNDAY SOUL SESSIONS’ on the 2nd SUNDAY every month, recreating those storming nights of the 60t’s.
