Welcome to the official ‘Twisted Wheel Club’ website. Our aim is to provide you information about the ONLY soul club surviving that still spins 60t’s SOUL and R’n’B CLASSICS on 45 vinyl in the ORIGINAL club building.
The ‘Wheel’ has been re-activated since July 2000 when promoter Pete Roberts realized his dream of spinning sounds in the famous downstairs Stageroom. We have Soul nights on the LAST FRIDAY of each month and ‘Sunday Soul Sessions’ on the 2nd SUNDAY every month, recreating those storming nights of the 60t’s. The Sunday’s are now so busy that we also use the upstairs main dancefloor area.
