Angling Society
The oldest angling club in the
midlands
Did you know that this angling society is based in your local club, Tyseley Working Mens
Club and we are looking for new members. There are a limited number of full
memberships available, as well as associate membership. The society is over 120
years old.
Your card entitles you to fish in our own waters (Stour & Avon) located in
Stratford-Upon-Avon, anytime from June through to March.
If you are interested in finding out more, club meetings take place in the
lounge of Tyseley Working Mens Club every Wednesday, 8:45 - 10:00pm. Please ask
for one of the angling club committee, John Worrall (Secretary) or Peter
Franklin.
Membership rates
Full membership : £28.00 per
year
Associate Membership : £14.50 per year
Club Matches
All club matches take place on Sunday mornings. There are 6 matches each
year, including a pool. There are also scrambles arranged from time to time.
Fish Types
These include Barbel, Tench, Chub, Bream, Roach, Pike & other silver fish.
