Bowls Section
Introduction
The bowls season runs from April to October and during this time, the club
enters teams in three local leagues. Each league's matches are run on different
days, so players may compete in more than one team.
The section has around 20 members, who play in the league matches and the 4
or 5 internal club tournaments that are run during the season. Match teams
consist of 10 players and the home green can host 3 pairs at a time.
League teams
The club competes in the Ward
End & Yardley League, which
takes place on Wednesday evenings and the Midland Works & Business Houses
League, which plays its matches on Saturday afternoon.
We are currently looking for a team to play matches on Sunday mornings.
