ACCESSORIES
Here are a few of the accessories that we have available that might enhance your VIDEOSPEC product. We can also do some modifications to our products that might make our product fit your needs, but if this is the case you will need to contact us and talk through those options.
Flexible Stand
The FLEXIBLE STAND is our most popular accessory, since it transforms the COLOUR COMBI from a low vision aid to help with reading and writing into a multi-functional low vision aid with variable magnification. The FLEXIBLE STAND can also be used in the same way with the COMPANION 3 COLOUR COMBI & COMPANION 3 DELUXE.
The FLEXIBLE STAND allows hands-free functions and variable magnification with the upper camera. The range of uses is too numerous to mention, offering more options than any CCTV, but here are a few:
* Crosswords and Sudoku
* Reading recipes
* Sewing or knitting, including threading a needle
* Painting
* Applying makeup

Aerial Adaptors
If your television does not have a SCART socket you can purchase an adaptor that will allow you to use the aerial socket instead.
Modifications
As you can see in our VALUES, VIDEOSPEC build all our products by hand here in the UK. The advantage to the customer is that we can build the product to the customer's specifications before it leaves the workshop. For example, in October 2007, an artist wanted to use a COMPANION 3 COLOUR COMBI to whilst painting, but needed a longer lead so that he could use it at his easel. Other modifications that we have carried out over the last 12 months:

* Phono leads for EEZEE READER 2000 to be used overseas
* 17" screen with COLOUR COMBI
* SCART lead for POCKET READER 2

Power units
It is very important that you always use the correct power adaptor with all VIDEOSPEC products. If you use the incorrect power unit the camera or screen may stop working and your 12 month warranty will not cover this damage. If you loose you power adaptor, PLEASE contact us and we can ensure that you purchase the correct power adaptor.
