AFTER SALES SUPPORT & REPAIRS

VideoSpec believe that:

"Since we are the ONLY people that manufacture VideoSpec products, we are the best people to repair them. We also give advice over the telephone to avoid customers being without their visual aids where it is not neccessary".

To ensure that our customers have the product that is right for them, and that it continues to work correctly for as long as possible, we offer the following after sales support:

14 day trial at home

36 month warranty

Repairs for out of warranty units

in addition to these services we are also available on the telephone to discuss any problems or to answer any questions that you may have, which may avoid you having to spend time without the use of you machine, and can save sending your machine back to us uneccessarily.

• 14 DAY TRIAL AT HOME

As stated in VideoSpec Values, "we understand that all of our customers are individuals, who have individual eye conditions with differing requirements." If you feel that, after trying our product at home for 14 days, you are not able to use our products, please call us on 01483-722273 so that we can arrange for the product to be sent back to us. On receipt, providing the item is in good-condition, we will then arrange a full refund.

• 36 MONTH WARRANTY

Although all our products are individually tested before they leave our warehouse, sometimes the electronic components within our products let us down. If this happens within the first 36 months, please call us on 01483-722273 so that we can arrange for the product to be sent back to us. The item will then be repaired free of charge.

Please note that this warranty does not cover damage by misuse, neglect, accident, or if repairs have been attempted by anyone other than VideoSpec.

• REPAIRS FOR UNITS OUT OF WARRANTY

Our products are designed to last for several years (we regularly repair units that are in exess of 15 years old), but unfortunately sometimes our products start to misbehave. If this does happen to you, please call us on 01483-722273 so that we can discuss the problem through with you. In some cases we are able to resolve the problem over the telephone, but if not, we can arrange for the product to be sent back to us so that we can investigate the problem and try to repair your unit‡. Please note that since we are the only people that manufacture VideoSpec products, we are therefore the best people to repair them.

For standard repairs†, we have a fixed rate (ex. VAT), as shown below:

*This rate excludes replacement of screens.

†Standard repairs exclude repairs caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or if repairs have been attempted by anyone other than VideoSpec.

‡Although we are able to repair over 95% of all products returned to us, sometimes the failed components are no longer produced and we have to admit defeat. If this was the case, we would notify you and offer you a 10% discount on a new model.
