COMPANION COLOUR COMBI
The COMPANION 3 COLOUR COMBI is designed as a multi-functional low vision aid that is an affordable alternative to CCTV, which is easy to use, and contained in a useful carry bag with shoulder strap, and weighs less than 1.5kg.
The COLOUR COMBI camera comes with 2 cameras - the lower camera has very high magnification similar to the EEZEE READER or COMPANION 3 EEZEE READER 2000, and the upper camera has approximately half the magnification when resting on the surface. The design of the COLOUR COMBI allows small amounts of writing to be done under the upper camera such as cheques and forms.
The COMPANION 3 COLOUR COMBI comes with the same functions as a COLOUR COMBI, except that it comes with an 8.4" screen with a flip-out stand that gives 4x - 12x magnification, and can be used in either colour or negative mode. Ideal for use where space is limited, such as libraries, offices or in hotel rooms - the dimensions of the screen when set up on flip-out stand are width 8.5", height 5.5" and depth 4.75".
If you want higher magnification, we supply a SCART connector so that you can get the same magnification you would with a COLOUR COMBI. With additional cables, you are also able to view colour pictures from digital cameras, camcorders and even DVD players using the 8.4" screen.
The functions of the COMPANION 3 COLOUR COMBI are increased further when purchased with a FLEXIBLE STAND (see ACCESSORIES), which allows hands-free functions and variable magnification with the upper camera. The range of uses is too numerous to mention, offering more options than any CCTV, but here are a few:
