Due to the villa’s location we consider car hire to be essential but for the more fit the Dolmus (minibus) runs frequently to all destinations from Uzumlu village (15 minute walk). We can arrange car hire for pickup at Dalaman Airport at competitive rates with a trustworthy company. Detailed maps of the route will be provided. Alternatively we can arrange transfers from the airport to the villa. The journey from the airport takes about 45 minutes along good roads. [Contrary to popular thinking the Turkish drivers are not all mad and the roads are improving all the time to European standards.]

Flying time to Dalaman airport from the UK is 3 hours 45 minutes. Dalaman is served by all the major charter airlines based in the UK from most regional airports on a daily basis. Alternatively Dalaman is served by several scheduled airlines which fly daily from Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick or Manchester. Dalaman airport has just built a brand new terminal and delays getting through are rare. On entry to Turkey a visa is required and will cost £10 per person (payable in sterling).
